About All The Little Shops - Chester

All The Little Shops / Chester has been created to help the independent retailers of Chester – the soul of Town and City centres and give visitors to our website and historic city the chance to uncover some of the hidden gems on and off the high street. We need shoppers to come into town and support their local independent retailers and Shop Local – in turn independent retailers need to offer a professional and friendly service – and great value too!

We hope that All the Little Shops / Chester will encourage local shopping and increase visits into the shops- but some visitors will be from far away, so we have created a "secure single payment gateway" which means a visitor can buy a range of products from different shops and pay by credit card - with just one payment.

This important initiative is a first for Chester and it is hoped that by working with the local independents retailers - the soul of Town and City centres - they will take advantage of this great opportunity and allow the Internet to help build awareness of their business and encourage more people into their shops.

By joining together and marketing the independent retailers and businesses under the umbrella of All the Little Shops means a stronger voice for retailers in Chester. It is hoped this initiative will encourage more independent retailers will join the scheme and put forward other marketing ideas that can be developed under the brand of All the Little Shops / Chester - such as simple voucher schemes that can be redeemed in-store, right through to using swipe card technology in All the Little shops nationwide.

Our advertising rates have been subsidised by the All the Little Shops national brand to help build a network of independent retails across the UK. ATLS are members of the Association of Town Centre Management, ATCM, Federation of Small Businesses, FSB, and strongly support the Shop Local campaigns.

This sponsorship has meant all independent retailers and businesses in the Chester region can create their own webpage, display up to 30 or more products and, if they wish, trade online – at exceptional value.

It is easy for a retailer to set up a shop on this website and just as easy for visitors to the website to see the diverse independent retailer offer in Chester, browse a wide range of products, plan their shopping trip, see what else there is to do "Whilst in Town".

Retailers can offer a “reserve and wrap” offer if they wish that entices the online shopper to buy online but collect in store – saving postage and having a gift wrapped free.
